Cant send e mails Results

Hello,

Im using Outlook 2007 with Exchange Server 2003.

My problem is that i can´t send any e-mails to hotmail or yahoo. My IP is not blacklisted, so I don´t know what could be the problem.

I´ve read that you need to create a registry in your DNS to be able to send e-mails to these domains.

In waiting of your comments.

J. Ruiz

I have Outlook 2010, Win 7 64 bit, Toshiba laptop bought new in Oct 2011, 8 gig RAM. I have been sending and receiving e-mail without a problem until 2 days ago. I updated my Outlook calendar and added a lot of older data (events in the past). Suddenly I cannot send e-mail .. I get a message that Outlook "times out" trying to contact SMTP. I lengthened the time before "time out". After a long telephone session, my ISP provider says this is a "MS" problem. I downloaded Thunderbird and then imported data/settings from Outlook and it sends e-mail perfectly ... so I assume the problem is not the ISP. Any advice? Should I delete all the old data in the Calendar (how do you delete data from the calendar?)

Hi

I have been using my outlook for more than 4 months. This tuesday it
suddenly did not want to send any e-mails with attacments. I have no idea
what to do. Please help. I can send e-mails with no attacments fine

I run Windows XP Pro (service pack 3) with outlook express 6

Thank you

Hi "Etienne24",

Are you also using Internet Explorer 6. By "tuesday" I assume you mean June
23rd. In between the last time it worked, and you noticed the change, did
you make any changes to your computer or install any new programs, such as
automatic Windows updates while Outlook Express was active? (Got pets that
can access your keyboard when you are on a break?

You say it "did not want to send" - what exactly is happening? Are you
getting an error message, and if so, what does it say? At what point is the
failure? While attaching? After attaching? While sending? Upon arrival? Has
your mail server changed its policy regarding email attachments, or lowered
the attachment size limit?

In the "Insert Attachment" dialog, is there a checkmark before "Make
Shortcut to this file"? If so, un-check it. After you choose a file to
attach, does an "Attach" box appear in the message header below the
"Subject" box? While the message is in your Drafts or Outbox folder, is
there a paperclip symbol to the left in the list of messages? If so, is
there also a paperclip button on the right side of the header in the lower
Preview pane while displayed? That's all I can think of so far.

(Triple-Click here, to be of good cheer!

I can receive e-mails, but cannot send them. I have tried to read through all
the other discussion threads, but not sure if they are quite the same as my
problem.
I get this error message;

Task 'Sending' reported error (0x800CCC0F) : 'The connection to the server
was interrupted. If this problem continues, contact your server administrator
or Internet service provider (ISP).'

All my settings are correct, but since I have been connected to my house
mates secure internet connection, I cant send e-mails.

Hi friends...I have question about exc2007.

I installed exc2007 on server2008 r2 and it has been installed without problem.Its working fine.Here is my schema;

server2008 r2+exc2007 sp1server 2008 routerADSL modeminternet

I have just one problem.I cant send mail. When i send mail from other domains(yahoo,hotmail,etc...)to my domain mail is coming. But when im trying to send to other domains my mail is not going.I created send connector.I also directed the rigt ports to right computer in modem and server2008 router.

I talked to my domain company and they directed domain name to my internet ip.I can come to my exc2007 server computer from different internet ip computer and i see my web site.IIS is working fine too.

Why i cant send e-mail do you have any idea?

HI All!

POP3 users from outside the network are unable to send the mail to users
other then company's domain. The error in Application log is

Event ID 1069
SSPI authentication attempt from 61.17.134.89 has failed with error
0x8009030c.

The Firewall I am using is WatchGuard SOHO 6

Another Error is

This is an SMTP protocol log for virtual server ID 1, connection #5. The
client at "61.11.30.103" sent a "rcpt" command, and the SMTP server responded
with "550 5.7.1 Unable to relay for xxx@yahoo.com ". The full command sent
was "rcpt TO: ". This will probably cause the connection to
fail.

Please advise how to troubleshoot this issue.

I have exchange 2k3, and Have it set up to send e-mail locally. I also am using POP 3 access to get e-mail from a second exchange server located off site. my problem is that when I try to send e-mail locally outlook gets confussed and sends the message to the off site location which cant see my exchange server that has the mail box address that I am sending the mail to. Hello Folks
I feel that I should know how to do this, but try as I might, I cant.

I have recently plugged an old dial up system into a broadband router.
Having installed all broadband software on the second sytem, I cannot get
Outlook Express to send e-mails from the previous dial up address, only
receive them.
I know I must of put some wrong info somewhere, but please can someone help
guide me through.
Hope that is enough info. If not, please let me know.

Your help is and always has been very much appreciated.
Thanking you in anticipation.

I am using Outlook 2002 and when I try to send an e-mail I get the following:

The following recipient(s) could not be reached:

on 10/16/2007 4:51 AM
451 http://www.spamhaus.org/query/bl?ip=68.119.195.199

Any ideas what's wrong?

Everytime i try to send an e-mail it states error no server not found
(detail) and (tasks)

I assume by Outlook, you mean Outlook Express and not MS Outlook?

Turn off e-mail scanning in your anti-virus program. It is a redundant layer
of protection that eats up CPUs, slows down sending and receiving, and
causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs, account setting changes
and has even been responsible for lose of messages. Your up-to-date A/V
program will continue to protect you sufficiently. For more, see:

I can send e-mail but I cant recieve them and yes I have clicked on send
recieve. I think it has to do with the set up of the mail server. when I run
the test mail page everything seems to be working

here is what OL 2007 STATED ON TEST:
Send test e-mail message: None of the authentication methods supported by
this client are supported by your server.

I have set up a Exchange server for my E-mail from my web site.

I configured my server using the Internet Mail Wizard, and i am able to Recieve Mail from people such as a BTCONNECT E-mail address but i am not able to send e-mail out of my server.

The interesting thing is that i can send e-mail inside the company but i cant send it to e-mail addresses out side of the company.

Can anyone help with this issue?

I currently have the following setup (which I know is going to be frowned out!) w2k server (domain controller), isa server and e2k all running on same box.I have successfully set up everything and so far can e-mail internally and send e-mail to external addresses. However I cant receive external e-mail, sent either using the domain name (i.e. test@domain.net) or using the ip address (i.e. test@2x3.xxx.xxx.xxx). I can successfully telnet onto port 25 from an external source using the ip address.I feel I am so close to getting it all sorted, please can someone help me with the final bit! Thanks,
Marcus (marcus_toovey@hotmail.com ... still!)

I can send to most but some domaines I can't. I can send to AOL but not MSN. I am not blocked and I don't have an open relay Here is what the error message I get from the return mail.
