Does anyone know why this message box is shown several times during
each send and recevie, and if there is a way to stop its being shown ?

I have two imap and two pop accounts activated. I believe but cannot
verify that the IMAP server is that hosting imap.aim.com. I have about
thirty folders there.

I receive the following error when I am sending messages "your imap server wants to alert you that it can not read attachement 185" the attachement # chnages but the rest of the error remains constant. I just upgraded to 2010 Office Prof. Plus and had been using OUTLOOK express flawlessly for several years. Outlook is attached to my aol email via IMAP.

Can anyone help me with this? I've been working on it for a couple of days now and still have been unsuccessful. I keep getting this pop up message that states:

Your IMAP Server wishes to Alert you to the following: 3258 (1032). That mail is not currently available.

I am using Outlook 2003 pulling from an AOL account.

Hi there,

I am using office 2010 pro in win 7 HmPre x 64 dual booth with window server R2 ( converted to a work station) in other partition.

My laptop runs on window server 2008R2 work station. Using office 2010 pro as well.

since two days ago, I received that alert and failed to connect to gmail IMAP server through outlook.

I changed the send/ rec setting to download header only from selected folders only.

I still received same alert and failed to connect to IMAP server even after I restared outlook and computer. Same problem with Laptop.

Do I need to delete Outlook Data File (.pst), which is almost 3.5 gb now,   and restart outlook again ?

Thanks

Aung

Hello I am using Windows Vista and MS Outlook 2007. I get an error message
when it's sending and receiving that states - "Your IMAP server wants to
alert you to the following: 100 (1032) That mail is not currently available."

I have researched this issue online and I have been unable to find a
solution. I have gone to MS Office support, they have the top issues but
they dont have an area where you can type in your issue so that was not
helpful. I have also gone to Outlook - tools - then to account settings -
then I have repaired the 6 emails that have IMAP. It goes through the
configuring process and when completed it says, "Congratulations" I have
sent myself test emails from other emails to all the IMAP accounts and I've
receive them. The error message pops up constantly and it's super annoying,
I just dont know what else to do. Please help !!!

I also have two POP accounts.

I Thank anyone who can help me with this in advance.

Vivian

Outlook 2K3 SP2.

I have one user who get the message "Your IMAP server wishes to alert you to
the following: STATUS failed" No other user is getting this message. Anyone
seen this before and know how to get rid of?

I've deleted the user's profile, ran a scan on the PST file. Not sure what
else to do. The message doesn't say a whole lot.

Thanks for any and all help

Can anyone please help me with this? I've been working on it for a few days now and still have been unsuccessful in removing it. I keep getting this pop up message that states:

Your IMAP Server wishes to Alert you to the following: 3258 (1032). That mail is not currently available.

I have an AIM email account that i access using OL 2003 from two PCs. On one
of the PCs I constantly get an alert message:

Your IMAP server wants to alert you to the following: 17 (1032) That
mail is not currently available

I haven't been able to find any difference in the inbox between the two PCs
- they seem to have the same messages in them and I get new mail and can send
email without any problems.

On other note - on the PC with the problem, outlook is set up with an
exchange server account as well as the AIM IMAP account.

Any idea/help on resolving this would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Can anyone help with how to stop this annoying message.
I've recently started using Outlook 2010 on a WIN7 system and have three POP3 email accounts. I also have IMAP account connections to two of them to check server spam control in spam folders. I am getting the following message repeatedly "Your IMAP server wants to alert you to the following: Fatal error: TOO MANY CONSECUTIVE PROTOCOL VIOLATIONS:" When I've emptied the IMAP folders, the messages seem to stop, but seem to start again when new content arrives in the IMAP folders. What do I need to do to configure my Outlook to avoid receiving these messages.

I have set up AOL email account as IMAP type and keep getting pop up in outlook " your IMAP server wants to alert you the following: Can't read attachment for message 6438.

this pops up for many times and each time the number is different.

new profile same issue.

Office Version:Office 2007
Operating System:Windows Vista / Windows 7 - same issue.

Pleas ehelp I have searched every forum I can find, not sure why this is happening, it started with error 1302 which I managed to identify there was a corrupt email, now the error code is 3306 which I have not seen before, I am using windows 7 Outlook 2010 can anyine suggest anything

Error message: Your IMAP server wants to alert you to the follow: 45 That mail is not currently available.

This happens when outlook syncs. I have it set to sync every 15 minutes. I have 5 emails set up on it- 3 AOL accounts, insightbb.com account and hotmail account. I have all 5 accounts set up on my Galaxy SIII. I hit send/receive all and the problem seems to be with the main aol account. all other accounts show ok, but my default account takes longer and then the error box pops up. Any thoughts?

(random note- The security box to post my thread asked me what color the sky is. I put aquamarine. It didn't like my answer.)

After Outlook has been open for a couple of hours it pops up with this warning
"Your IMAP server wants to alert you to the following: Invalid credentials
(Failure)"
It works fine up to this point and, i think, even past this point. It
doesn't seem to matter if I hit cancel OK or retype the password and hit OK.
It will go away a maybe come up again later.
Thank for your help in advance. DaveK

out of no where my outlook 2007 displayes the following measage when it opens.

your IMAP server wants to alert you to the following: Invalid credentials
(failure)

I have entered the password time and time again without success
I even removed the acount and followed my gmail instructions to set up gmail
I tesst the settings and recieve the test email but it stil willnot allow me
access. ???????

This is the message I get during Send/Receive:
'Your Imap server wants to alert you to the following: 77(1032) That mail is
not currently available'

I have 2 aol accts feeding into outlook 2007 and it was happening before I
set up the second one.
What does it mean?
How do I fix or change settings to stop it from appearing?

I recently began using Outlook 2007. I am using one AOL email account. On every Outlook send/receive I get the error message: "Your IMAP server wants to alert you to the following: 74 (1032) That mail is currently not available." I understand that there is a message that has been corrupted and IMAP can no longer reconcile that message. How do I find that specific message and get rid of it so the popups stop? I have identified which folder it is in, but I can't figure out which message it is. I do not want to delete every old message from the server because it is a historical record for my business endeavors, which I need to keep for legal reasons.

To anyone. I keep receiving the following message and am unsure why. Any
assistance would be appreciated.

"your imap server wants to alert you to the following: 31(1032). That mail
is not currently available"

I recently purchased a new laptop and installed Outlook 2007 to get my AOL mail. I set it up exactly how it was on my old laptop, however on this laptop I consistently receive an error message: "Your IMAP server wants to alert you of the following: ###(1032) That mail is not currently available." (where the ### represents the number of the unavailable mail.)

I have deleted the account from Outlook, including the PST file, and added it again to Outlook. No change. I have also checked my AOL webmail and I was able to open the mail that prompted the error with no issue.

It's strange that I am not getting any errors on my other laptop running Outlook 2007 (or even my mini running Windows Live).

Any ideas?

Thanks!
