In Outlook, my cursor jumps around.

When I am typing a message in Outlook, my cursor jumps around to other places
on the screen. I have to go back and delete the letters where they were

After installing a new hard drive, my cursor jumps around on its own, so as
I'm typing fast, the letters go into another point in the document. Also,
the keyboard doesn't seem to keep up with the keystrokes, resulting in some
strange-looking words.

What's going on?

Using Microsoft Office 2003 as email editor to Microsoft Outlook. My cursor
jumps around frequently while I am typing an email or when in Microsoft Word
to other areas within message typed, or even as I type this message. How do
I stop/correct this persistent problem?

Can anyone help? My cursor is constantly jumping around the page while I am
writing emails...
(twice just while I was writing this...its making me crazy!)

Hi:

I recently bought a new computer with Windows Vista and Office 2007
Professional Edition installed in it.
Is their a way to disable to make the blinking cursor unblink?
Especially when I'm typing a new message in Outlook my cursor blinks, I
didn't want that to blink.
Thank You

This problem is a little weird...

Usually when you create a new message in Outlook 2010, the cursor automatically goes to the "to" field in the new message.

But strangely for me, it goes to the body of the message.
This seems like a small problem, but when you're composing many new emails every day, it becomes a pain.

I looked at all the settings in the Options and couldn't find anything.

Anyone have a solution?

When typing in outlook, my cursor will move as if its typing, but letters are
not visible. My wifes works though. Any idea what the problem could be

when typing an email in Outlook, the cursor jumps at random to another part
of the body text where you continue to type until you realise the problem ....

I've just installed MS Outlook 2002 on my new Toshiba Notebook w/ Windows
Vista. I'll be typing away in an email, and suddenly my cursor will jump to a
random place throught the email and keep typing. Is anyone aware of this
type of problem? Could it be a Vista compatability issue with this older
version of MS Outlook/MS Office.

Yes - I also have this. Very tiresome. My cursor keeps vanishing. Really
slowing down work. It seems to take 2 or more seconds to recover each time it
gets lost - which is every time I type or click.

Since updating to Office 2007, when typing an email in Outlook 2007 my cursor
keeps moving to different parts of the email page. For example: if you type a
message and look at the cursor position, it has moved to a different part of
the page, then you have to re-position the cursor and delete the incorrect
entries. This some times happens after just typing several words but there is
no consistency.

I thought that it may be a virus, even though I have upto date virus
software and firewall. A couple of days ago I reformatted my hard drive and
after installing the software again the same problem is happened again.

Has anyone had similar problems, or is this some sort of virus as it may not
have anything to do with Office 2007 and how do you stop it?

When I am typing in a document my cursor will jump to another area on the
document, or even if I am writing an email, another screen will come up (all
on its own).
this happens sometimes and not others. I dont know why.
anyone know about what to do?
thanks for any Help,

When typing messages in Outllook my cursor will suddenly jump to another
place in the text or open a new window. There must be hidden hot keys or
keyboard shortcuts which I am not aware of.

How do I see them and remove them?

For some reason my cursor jumps from the To box to the body of the email
immediately upon openning a new email. I can't find a way to stop this from
happening, help!!!

I am trying to use my contacts in Outlook to send faxes by way of word 2003,
however Wrod does not recognize any contacts and shows no addresses in the
outlook address book.

I would like to know if I can configure Outlook 2007 to stay in Outlook
rather than jumping to the browser when I click on "click to follow link."
In my other email program, I can click on multiple links and then read them
at the same time.

I have a new laptop and recently purchased a new vcard from VistaPrint.com. I
downloaded the exec from VistaPrint and ran it to receive the Electronic
Business Card, but I cannot find my vCard anywhere in Outlook, my desktop, or
anywhere! I've had a vCard before on my old laptop with Microsoft 2002 (or
some older version of Outlook), so I've done this before, but I cannot find
the vCard anywhere. Where would it have downloaded to if it were a
successful download? I've been trying to find it for two days! Thank you

In Outlook 2007, I recently up graded to Windows 7 from XP, I had Office 2007 on that computer, Outlook worked fine. I used the “easy transfer” program. Everything transferred OK, Now in Outlook my list of contacts that worked find, but I cannot setup “address book” in “Account Settings”. It says I already have one, but I can’t add any contacts to it, it tell me to setup a PAB. In “Contacts Properties” under address book tab, the box “Show this folder as an e-mail Address book” is grayed out, can’t enable it, plus the box under “Name of the address book” that shows “contacts” is also grayed out.

I have uninstalled Office 2007 and reinstalled, but no change.

Is there a way to disable "not to send response" for read receipt in Outlook? My boss wants everyone in his team to send him a read receipt if he sends out an important email. However, some users have "not to send response" on; as a result, he is not receiving a read receipt from those people.

Hi gurus,

I want to create simple employee travel request by creating new form in
outlook.
My question are:
a. Is it possible to have like routing on each user.
For e.g. if user A then when sending the mail it will goes to user b, and
next to user c
if user x created travel request, it will goes to user Y and next to user C

b. can we create approval and reject action where if the approver click
reject then outlook will not continue the form to next user in his/her
routing

Thanks and Kindest Regards,
Anton
