Wahy to turn off attachment warning in Outlook 2007

I don't want to be prompted "You should only open attachments from a
trustworthy source ..." warning in Outlook 2007 on Vista when trying to open
Office 2007 and 2003 .doc, .docx, xls, xlsx, and .pdf files.

Unfortunately, the "Always ask before opening this file" checkbox is
disabled, so I can not remove the checkmark on it.

Is there a way to enable the checkbox?

Hello,

I have cognitive difficulties, but was away for awhile and somehow set up an
auto reply in Outlook 2007. I don't have Office Assistant and didn't set up
a rule, so how did I do it and how do I disable it?

Any help would be soooo appreicated.

Thanks,
Liz

A while back you all were kind enough to tell me how to set up Auto Reply in Outlook 2010.

I did it and it works great.

Now, I need to know how to turn it off.

Everytime I think I have it turned off, I get an email from someone telling me it is still turned on.

Can someone please tell me what to do?

Thanks!

Mike

I am using outlook 2007 ;the problem is that whenever i start downloading
from my inbox it syn all messages in the inbox creating large MB size
downloading thus increasing my time. can any body tell how to turn it off.

I have gone to tools and unchecked it but after I restart Outlook it is checked again.  I have tried disabling add-ins, turned off anti-virus, turned the feature off in Word, but nothing works, it always comes back.  Please help!

I don't want warnings from Outlook 2007 on Vista when trying to open Office

Also, if someone knows, is there a way to supress Outlook 2007's warning
that an attachment has changed?

Need to turn off spell check in subject line of outlook 2007 messages ,
please help.

For reasons I don't understand, I can't turn off the automatic spell
check in Outlook 2007. If I go to Tools-->Options-->Spelling, the two
buttons, "Always check spelling before sending," and "Ignore original
message text in reply or forward" are both checked, and grayed out!

It's the kind of thing that will eventually drive me to murder
someone, so please help.

Operating System:
  Windows Server 2008 64bit

Client:
  Outlook 2007

I've checked the recieve/send connectors and both are set to 100MB in the lab.

Here are my results.

[PS] C:Windowssystem32>Get-Transportconfig | fl max*

MaxDumpsterSizePerDatabase : 18 MB (18,874,368 bytes)
MaxDumpsterTime            : 7.00:00:00
MaxReceiveSize             : 100 MB (104,857,600 bytes)
MaxRecipientEnvelopeLimit  : 5000
MaxSendSize                : 100 MB (104,857,600 bytes)

[PS] C:Windowssystem32>get-receiveconnector | select identity,maxmessagesize

Identity                                                     MaxMessageSize
--------                                                     --------------
HUBDelivery SMTP                                        100 MB (104,857,600 bytes)

I set the limit to 100MB to run some tests in the lab and IN/OUT of cache mode doesn't seem to work. It seems as though Outlook 2007 has a setting somewhere where a default attachment limit is set. Perhaps a GPO? When I go to attach a 50MB file, Outlook almost immediately pops up with an error message:

The attachment size exceeds the allowable limit.

As you can see above, it doesn't.

Any Ideas?

Can anyone tell me how to disable the automatic image scaling feature in the
preview pane in Outlook 2007?

I get lots of people emailing me screenshots, etc. that it helpfully resizes
to a point where I can't read them. I'd like them to display at their
original size.

Thanks in advance,
Nick

I recently upgraded to Office 2007 so I'm using Outlook 2007 and I'm
trying to use the QuickParts feature to auto complete text as I'm
typing. The problem I'm having is that QuickParts doesn't work the
same as AutoText. In Outlook 2003, the AutoText feature allowed me to
just start typing text and I could hit Enter to insert the text.
However, in Outlook 2007, you have to hit F3 to enter the QuickParts.
Maybe I'm being nit-picky here, but it's a lot easier for me to hit
enter when typing to auto complete a word/phrase than it is to go find
the F3 key. Also, some one word phrases don't seem to work at all in
the Quickparts. Also, I noticed that there are some words
automatically setup like days of the week, etc. that I can start
typing and Outlook pops up a window that says "Press ENTER to insert".
I want to add more words/phrases to that option to "Press ENTER to
insert." Is this possible?

I want to set-up email accounts in outlook 2007. I have done everything
correctly with set-up from the instructions given by outlook but i still
could log in. For some reason, it says incoming server does not recognise my
email id and password. Also, i also could not log in with the username and
password i typed. anybody please help me. It is getting my head around too
much.

Thank you,
Sathish

Is there a way to time and date stamp in Outlook 2007?

I want to turn on inline comments in Outlook 2007. Help says go to Tools
Menu then to Options submenu, on preferences tab click email options...

I can't even find the Tools menu in 2007. There is an Options menu that
doesn't have anything like a preferences tab.

The help entry clearly says it applies to Outlook 2007.

What am I overlooking?

I would like to disable the RSS feature in Outlook 2007. I have installed
the Admin templates into Group Policy. Is there a setting that would prevent
the RSS folder from even showing up in the folder list. I've played around
with several different settings, but cannot seem to find any that work. If
there is not a Group Policy setting, is there any other way to disable RSS?

Thanks for your help,
