Trying to export Contacts to Excel. Need to install MS Office Outlook
Translator? Don't know where to find this? I'm using MS Office 2003.

I accidently deleted my MS Office Outlook 2007 OUTLOOK Profile while adding another (MAPI) Exchange email account. There were four email accounts inside the OUTLOOK Profile. They have obviously all disappeared from my OUTLOOK file list. I desperately need to recover them.  When I tried to re-create either the OUTLOOK Profile or one of my former email accounts (msn.com), after filling in all the appropriate exchange information, I repeatedly get a dialogue box asking for user name and password. I am entering the correct password, and it seems Outlook or Outlook Connector is preventing the msn.com email account to be pulled into Outlook. During the tests I never access the In/out servers. I access my emails and folders fine via webmail.  I also tried to do a system restore but found out the hard way that a restore point has never been set since I got the computer 3 years ago (how was I to know?). I know, get a MAC, but I am stuck with this problem now and need to recover or re-create the Outlook profile with all four email accounts as soon as possible.  Who can help and please, no technical terms, Im a novice.

I am trying to export contacts from Outlook Web Access. Is that possible?

I tried circumventing that and exporting to Excel and Word from a Contacts
file in public folders in Outlook just off someone's computer but it needs
the Translator installed (I don't know where the disk is). I tried just
creating a .pst and saved on the desktop, but it gave me a succinct error
message to the effect of "that is so not going to happen."

So I'm back to the account which apparently is only accessible via Web
Access. This account is no longer on the shared network with the others in
the office.

I'm a temp in small, small office, so I don't have a lot of IT options.

I have tried nearly everything to obtain the "required outlook translator"
needed to export my outlook contacts to CSV file including:

1) Changing setup/install options;
2) Delete M file (forget spelling of it);
3) Inserting XP CD.

Still, my computer doesn't recognize that a translator exisits. Any help is
appreciated!!!

Hello All,

I need help to set MS Office Outlook.

I use the line below

"DoCmd.SendObject acSendReport, "EmailQueryReport", acFormatRTF,
", "", "", "TEST", "Allocation Test",
True"

to automated send email. I write this code in Access-VBA.

Within MS Office Outlook 2003, I send it as a default to send email.
However, I execute the code above, I've get the error message said

"Microsoft Outlook

Not implemented"

I try to reinstall MS Office 2003-fully installation.

Set MS Office Outlook 2003 as default. It still doesn't work.

I have no idea what to figure it, any suggestion would be great.

Note: in my computer has Outlook Express and MS Office Outlook 2003. I'm not
sure this is the cause of the problem or not. However, it used to work before.

Thanks,

March

Running Outlook 2007 on Vista.
I am able to export Contacts, but regardless of the export format, the "File
As" field is missing.
My goal is to synchronize the Contacts on my office computer with those on
my home computer (Outlook 2007 on XP) by exporting from one and importing to
the other - but the operation is hampered by the missing "File As" field. And
if I import, it defaults to ordinary lastname firstname, which is
unsatisfactory because I have customized the entries in the File As field.
Any suggestions are welcome!
Thanks.

Have been using Outlook 2007 on new Dell with Vista operating system for 2
months. I have no issues with my id. Husband's id started closing down
today with the error "MS Office outlook has stopped working" and closing
down. I ran Norton and no virus was found. Reinstalled office Small
business 2007, went into his outlook inbox and he had many emails in
duplicate and got error message again. I switched to my id and no problems
with Outlook. His account has over 640 contacts that were imported from
Outlook Express but as I said we've been using for 2 months with no issues.
Any solution?

I have a pc with Office Pro2003 (SP3), and it will pop up a error screen about 3-4 times a day and then the only way to rectify the pc is to reboot it again.
Message is, "MS Office Outlook has encounted a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

I have attached a screen dump of the message.

I have uninstalled office and re-installed a fresh install, but still getting error. Anyone have some useful advise please.

Until recently I've had no problems using Outlook 2003 as my main email
program. But a couple of days ago I started getting the message "Cannot start
Microsoft Office Outlook. Unable to open the Outlook window. The set of
folders could not be opened. The server is not available. Contact your
Administrator if the condition persists".

So I uninstalled MS Office, and re-installed it, using the complete install
option, but the same message keeps popping up.

Can anyone tell me how I can get the outlook to work again!

At home I have always used Outlook Express as my email program.
When clicking on a "contact us" link on a website, either yahoo or MS Office
Outlook opens up as default (depending on which one I choose in set up).
TWO QUESTIONS:
1) Why can't I choose outlook express as the default email program in set
up? (it doesn't appear as an option)
2) Why won't MS Office Outlook send or receive mail? If I DO choose MS
Office Outlook as the default program it still won't connect.

Something odd is going on.

When I try to export Contacts

(File-Import/Export-Outlook...-Export to a file-Comma Seperated Values
(Windows)

The only folder to export from is an obscure PST file I created a few years
back, at the same time I created many other PST files, all of which are in
the same location, noe of which show up - only this one.

Why can I only see one PST file? Why can't I see anything related to a
Contacts file?

Windows Explorer has been taking forever to show folders lately, and I've
been getting periodic error messages stating:

"svchost.exe - Application Error
The instruction at "0x009a9eec" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The
memory could not be "written".

Click on OK to terminate the program

Click on CANCEL to debug the program"

Could the file export problem be part of a larger problem?

Much thanks,

Dennis

Is it possible to export contact images in Outlook 2007?

My observations when I allowed MS Office Outlook trial:

Originally my emails came to both my trial page and also to the original
Windows mail. I liked that as I felt that if I decided to cancel the trial, I
would still be getting my mails in the other mailbox.

Some while into the trial, I'm not sure how long, the duplicates stopped
coming, or were coming spasmodically.

Again, I don't know when they stopped altogether, but they DID stop
duplicating altogether.

Now the trial has expired and all the mail I had go to the trial account
cannot be copied, forwarded, or anything except deleted!! What's with that
then?

AND, why does my mail keep going to that trial account when it has expired!
Why do I, yes ... I, need to do anything to stop the mail going to an expired
account.

Oh, and one other thing I have observed: It's easy to find 'ACTIVATE' or am
I just plain blind and can't see the information on how to deal with all
these emails that I have LOST to the trial?

Can someone please help me? I do not want to Activate or Buy or whatever the
new MS Office Outlook, at least not at this very moment. I just want my
emails to go to my old simple Outlook Express (which I thought I had before
all this trial stuff came up), or Windows Mail, which is the only other email
program I have coming up on my start menu.

Yes, if you hadn't detected it yet ... I am quite angry. I'm no computer
whizz & what this experience is telling me is that as long as I remain in
ignorance, I should not accept any more trials!!! I know ... my bad ... but
such is life with the simple folk.

Hope to hear from someone soon. Thank you.
