Outlook will not work after windows update on Windows 7

Hi

this week i have 3 machines that are run Win 7 enterprise that after a
windows update will not run outllook.

when you start outlook you get the outlook has errored message
when you start it again you are offered safe mode, if you say no the above
happens, if you say yes then it does the same
the next time if offers a detect and repair, that doesn't solve it

i've tried trashing the profile and recreating it, no better

i've had to resort to doing a system restore before the update, which solves
the problem. when the update is applied the errors start again.

i've had to restore all the machines back, and disable windows update !

help please ? this is affecting my windows 7 rollout plans ?1

I recently installed the latest updates to my computer and now Outlook does
not work. I have tried going back to the restore point, uninstalling the
updates and using the Inbox repair tool but with no luck. Any suggestions on
now to get Outlook to open?
Thank you,

I reinstalled Office 2003 Prof and XP Professional. Outlook will not work. It
opens but will do nothing after this. I have reinstalled, repaired etc.
Nothing changes. Any ideas? All other Office products are working correctly.

I cannot open my outlook 2007.  It looks like I had an update on 11-11-10.  I can click on the outlook in my programs and nothing happens.

I have some problem that my Outlook Express not Working With Windows Vista, please provide me the solution.

Hyperlins within Outlook will not work, I have to cut and paste to internet explorer, how can this be fixed

I no longer use MSN on my office computer. I own Microsoft Office and it was
working well. After I erased MSN on my office computer Outlook will not pull
up my email. I still have a MSN account at home so my email addresses are
still active. I thought Outlook would work separatly from MSN.

My Junk E-Mail Filter in Outlook 2003 stopped working after "Windows Update"
installed the followig automatic updates. I didn't change anything else
about my Outlook configuration, it's just that no more messages are being
filtered by Outlook's filter since that date. I have tried turning filtering
off then on again, using various filtering levels, etc. and nothing seems to
work.

Here are the updates that were installed, after which this behavior started:

Office 2007 Update for Office 2007 (KB934391)
Office 2007 Security Update for Office 2007 (KB934062)
Office 2007 Update for Office 2007 (KB934393)
Office 2007 Update for 2007 Microsoft Office System (KB932080)

Is anyone else finding this to be the case and any suggestions for a fix?

Thanks.

We can not longer open OFT files in outlook since a recent update was done.
We have cleared out the cash and deleted the Frmcache.dat and it still will
not work. We have installed the hotfix from Microsoft and still not working

While trying to copy my Outlook 'contacts' info onto a CD, I screwed
something up and now Outlook will not open. When I click on Outlook, the
screen comes up and disappears as an error message pops up; "Cannot start MS
Office Outlook. Cannot open the Outlook windows. The set of folders cannot
be opened. Errors have been detected in the file". The message goes on to
tell me to use the Outlook repair tool, which I can't get to.

I have tried safe mode and 'Outlook.exe /resetnavpane' and each time the
same error message pops up. Also, I went into the directory under
Microsoft/Office 12 and double-clicked on Scanpst. It tried to do a repair,
but failed, saying it could not fix all 8 errors (or something).

I just un-installed and re-installed Office 2007, however, when I clicked on
Outlook in Office to set it up, the same message popped up.

I have Office 2007 and am using Vista. I obviously don't know much about
computers, but I was surprised to see Outlook appear (quickly before
disappearing) the same (as it did prior to error message) when I clicked on
it and my Word files intact, after the Office 2007 uninstall/reinstall. Any
help would be appreciated.

I have Outlook 2007 and Word 2007 and the auto correct feature will not work
in Outlook or Word. I can add and see the entry in auto correct in both
programs. However, when I try and use it, nothing happens. I am trying to
get Fyi to turn into F.Y.I.

Outlook will not open after install.
Error message: cannot start ms office outlook, Cannot open outlook window.
The set of folders cannot be opened. Mapi was unable to load info service
msncon.dll.
I am currently running vista beta, I recieved same message when running XP.
I do not need to import user data this seems to be when it error occurs

outlook 2010 will not reopen after closing unless I restart my computer

I zipped a file and attached it to Outlook 2002 and pushed send. It would
not go and now Outlook will not open, even in safe mode! What should I do?

Problem Description: After downloading the updates on April 28 and 29 I tried
to open

MS Outlook on the 29th. but it will not start. A "CMD" or "RUN" dialog box
appears

briefly, about 1/2 second, but Outlook will not start. The other MS Office

applications that I opened, (Word, Excel, Publisher), at first a dialog box
called

"BCM" opened and displayed "Office application version does not match", then
the

application opens and seems to run. How do I get Outlook to run?
Thank you,

I ran office diags and detect/repair, but no help.
I also saw an error message complaining about a device error on my system,
but none located; and an error about a Trend Micro TEMP module that had a
hash table error, so I disabled TMicro, but that had no affect, either.
I'm lost at this point...the only other things performed on my system
recently were a re-installation of Yahoo Messenger and Adobe 9.3
reader...everything else is functioning nominally.
Any professional assistance would be greatly appreciated...thank you.

I write from home and email my work out of WORD. This has always worked well for me. After the last Windows Update on Oct. 15, the documents are not going out. The message comes up that the document has been sent, but it has not gone out. Help!

I have looked and have even enlisted the help of a few MCSE's I know of. No
luck. I have Windows XP home edition. I am running MS Office 2003 Pro. I went
to my Outlook Today and I added a folder to the list to view on the page.
Once I hit save I can no longer get to the folders I have specified by
clicking on them. I can still open OL and it opens to the OL TD page it shows
new mail. It will not let me click on it and go to the folder. I can still
send and receive as normal. Mind you I have been using this version of OL for
a while and I have no additions to it. The only changes I have right now are
to the tool bars. I have reset everything with the “Detect and Repair”. I
have created a new pst file, I have uninstalled and reinstalled. Nothing that
I have tried seems to work.
I have downloaded IE7 B3 lately but I am not using the Live Toolbar or MSN
Toolbar. No Google or MSN/Yahoo desktop. Just OL 2003 out of the box.
If someone can point me in the right direction I would be very thankful.

Last week I did a windows update and then an office update.

Since then, I cannot open Outlook - before it opens, the message dialog pops
up informing me that an error has happened and Outlook must close. All other
office programs seems to work fine.

I have already uninstalled and re-installed and the problem persists!!!!

So frustrating! Please help!
