I performed an ActiveSync with my PDA and computer, and lost ALL my contacts.
How do I go back and retrieve 800 Outlook contacts?

Installation of the Outlook Connector caused Outlook to lose all my Contacts, Note, Calendar etc. Please, can anyone help me get them back? Running Windows XP Pro.

Also, when I open Outlook my msn account email address and password are correct, but it will not sign in. I end up closing the window, and then Outlook does open. So what's the deal?
(The Account Svcs, Help, Terms of Use, and Privacy Policy buttons appear as links, but never open anything, thus nonfunctional.)

Does anyone have a good reference for using my MDA with Outlook? TMobile help is scanty to say the least, and I have yet to find a good source/link for using my device to its fullest.

I just upgraded my PC, as directed by Windows Live care.
BUT THE ICON DISAPPEARED FROM MY HOMEPAGE-
HOW CAN I GET IT BACK?
I have to escape all programs now, when I want to check my
e-mails, and it is a hassle.
Thanks

I have a large contact database. My contacts are grouped into multiple
categories. One contact can have several categories. I send out a mass e-mail
to a contact group called "Townline" and now all my contacts are missing
within my category and within my address book. What happened? How can I get
them back?

In categories, I clicked on header, clicked on Actions, Create, New message
to contacts. Emails sent fine just lost contacts.

All of my email folders under the mail folders heading have just
dissappeared. The outlook supplied folders and my personal folders are all
gone. Where'd they go? More importantly, can I get them back? And can I
prevent this from happening in the future?

Thanks

I've really done it this time.............
I was cleaning up my Outlook Express and
accidentally deleted
my sub-group addresses where I kept them filed by
type. I
didn't even realize I did it until I opened OE
again and they
were gone.
I got a new cell phone which has PDA-Sync on it
and in trying
to bring across my contacts from Outlook Express,
but it brought
those "lost" contacts. Where can I find those
lost group addresses
and restore them so I can back them up and then
try bring the
1st level contacts that I want on the cell phone.

IE 6.00.2900.2180
OS: Win XP Sp2

Thanks in advance for the help !

I was trying to access my archive inbox and the 2 folders vanished from the
mail folders bar. How do I get them back?

Over 10 years of contacts there the other night. The next morning i lost probably more than 95%. I have started using icloud to sync the contacts to my mobile devices. Which dumped my contacts and can i get them back? There is no obvious pattern to determine which contacts were removed. i still have very old ones and new ones left. HELP!

I deleted some mail from Office Outlook, can I get it back?

I had a group set up but a member chaged email addresses. I added the new but
when I tried to delete the old- the whole disapeared.
Please can I get it back?
Urgent!

I got the bright idea of making 2 more Contacts folders so that I could be
better organized. I decided not to use the old Contacts folder and instead
was putting changes in the two news one, which would be used for different
purposes. The reason I came up with this is so that I could get around using
categories (temporarily) because a lot of them disappeared for some unknown
reason. Any, now the problem is that in order for me to set up Contacts to
be tracked in the Journal, I have to use the Contacts folder I initially
had (the default folder), and Windows Mobile (for my Motorola Q) uses only
the default folder for its sync...so now I want to copy all the Contacts from
the two new folders BACK to the original Contacts folder so I can use just
that one. How can that happen without mass duplication issues? And can it
be done by just copying the whole Contacts folder from one to the other, or
do I have do go in and choose each one? Thank you! What a mess.

Hello guys (and gals). I am so deep in trouble I can't even begin to
tell you. In a nutshell, somehow, a folder I had FULL of other folders
even fuller of TONS of saved e-mails (Outlook e-mail) has completely
disappeared from my computer. I did NOT delete it, it was the last
folder I opened yesterday before I left work, then I locked my
computer (as opposed to shut it down or logging off) and this morning,
POOF! Gone. I did the following:

-Made all hidden stuff viewable and did a search in the WHOLE
computer.
-Did a system restore back to last Friday.
-Ran an UNDELETE program.

I got all my folders back, but NONE OF THE OUTLOOK E-MAIL FILES ARE
THERE!!!

I have also noticed that my folders pane in Outlook has changed and
acts funny (ie: I click on CONTACTS and it brings CALENDAR up, and so
on), but I don't know that this is related to the above problem...

I don't much care for how Outlook looks now, but I care every bit
about getting those e-mails back. Could someone tell me why a folder
would disappear just like that? (No one else has access to my
computer). Also, ARE those e-mails gone? If not, how can I get them
back?

You will have my eternal unending gratitude (and tons of houses and
luxury cars if I become rich and famous one day!)

Thanks...Jus.

Hi

I had to reinstall Outlook 2007 when I bought a new computer recently.
Because I backup Outlook using the Microsoft Tool I was able to retrieve my
pst file. However, all my customizations have gone (including categories,
colour scheme etc). Is there any way of getting those settings back or is
there a file I ought to back up in future to ensure I don't lose them again?
