Remove E-Mail Address from Public View

Last time I had occasion to post an Outlook problem, Vanguard told me that
I'm exposing my true e-mail address in Usenet. I know this is probably an
Outlook Express type question (since that's the program I'm using to
post)...but how do I change that?

Thanks,

mark4man

Want to remove e-mail addresses from thousands of public folders, but can't
see where 2k3 will allow me to remove even one (last one). Need to preserve
mail storage. Can't see where policy will let me apply anything based on
public folder tree structure either, e.g. one top level public folder and all
subfolders, remove e-mail addresses.

Tired of spammers sending to my public folders, which since I don't allow
annonymous writes, bounce messages, creating 2x the wasted mail flow- or even
worse since the spam can't be returned to sender either (fake "from"
address). No smtp, no spam.

very disappointing so far

Hi

I need to export all my e-mail address from my domain and also get all e-mail alisas also

I have truiied using CSVDE and no joy :(

I have received a number of Message failure messages following on from a
mailer i sent out. I was wondering whether there is a way of extracting all
the failed e-mail addresses from these messages so that i can delete them
from my database (which isn't Microsft Office, Its in Notepad format)?

At present it would be a case of copying each e-mail address and pasting
into Notepad, if you have any better ideas they would be welcomed.

I did what it said to delete e-mail addresses from the drop-down box in the
"To" column that Outlook stores. Seemed to work until the next time I logged
on, opened Outlook, went to type in an address, and there were the supposed
deleted ones still there! I want to know how to delete them PERMENANTLY.
They are not ones I have in "My Contacts", as I no longer correspond with
these people, but Outlook is still remembering their addresses. I want them
gone. Please advise me how to get rid of them for good. Thank you!

Hi,
We'll move to another office and I would like to contact every costumers
giving the info about that.
I have a big PST file, around 2,5 Gb. Is it possible to get all e-mail
addresses from the PST file so I can prepare an e-mail for the costumers?

Thanks in advance.

When I begin to type in an address in the address bar when sending an e-mail,
the address selp populates. Since some of my contacts have changed their
e-mail address, the old and the new will pop up. In many cases they are very
similar and I cannot recall which one to use. Is there a way to delete the
old e-mail address from the "history" so only the current e-mail address self
populates?

Thanks

How do you sned an e-mail to multiple people but hide their e-mail address
from each receipient.

Using Office 2000, is it possible to import a list of several hundred e-mail
addresses from a Word table (single column, one address per row) into an
Outlook 2000 distribution list?

I am trying to get the e-mail address from external exchange user by using
SenderEmailAddress. But it is returning the folder directory for the user
account not the e-mail address. Does anyone know of another method?

Outlook "remembers" email afddresses you have previously used and offers them
as suggestions as you type an e-mail address n the "To:" e-mail address box.
How do you remove a mistyped entry from Outlook so it is no longer offered up
as an option?

Hello,

Is it possible to assign an e-mail address to a public folder? For example,
have the address department@company.com routed to a public folder called
"Department" so that any e-mail sent to that address from the internet would
end up in that folder.

Thank you,

~Jaye

When I create new mailbox, new e-mail address is published in Public folders and I don't want that for a specific user.
Can I somehow hide this e-mail address from public folder?

We have just moved up from Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2003. We are going to
use OWA for our Macintosh clients and our clients with one logon but multiple
users. The question that keeps getting asked for those using OWA is when
composing an e-mail message why dosen't the e-mail address auto fill from the
GAL? I've showed users how to lookup the reciepents which works fine but
users still ask why the address won't auto fill. Is this a OWA weakness or
have I set something up incorrectly.

I have a problem with an Exchange 2007 server.

We need to remove one of the accepted domains but cannot becuase there is an e-mail address policy for the domain which I need to remove first. Unfortunately it will not allow me to do this, saying:

Remove-EmailAddressPolicy : The operation cannot be completed on the default e-mail address policy.

... but it is not the default address policy - it is a minor one. I have a seperate EAP for each domain - all marked priority lowest - and there is only one email address in there. I have tried adding another and setting it as the 'reply to' but doesn't allow it.

Anybody able to help please?

I've entered an incorrect e mail address on the "to" line when creating a new
e mail. When I start to input an e mail address, I get a drop down menu with
the incorrect address there and the correct one also. I would like to delete
the incorrect e mail address so it doesn't keep showing up in my list. How
do I do it?

When I type an address in the "to" field and it starts to auto-complete based
on recent address entries, I can hit "return" and it works if it puts the
name of the recipient (the "display as" version from contacts) in between
apostrophes (so 'John Smith'), or if it gives the name of the person then the
e-mail address in between (so John Smith ). That
always works. It also works if I manually type a complete address.

But if I get the name of the contact without apostrophes or without the
address in brackets, or more importantly, when I click on an address in my
contacts it puts in the name of the recipient (the "display as" version,
again), but WITHOUT the apostrophe and then it doesn't work. I get an
immediate returned mail from "system administrator" but I think this is from
Outlook itself, not my ISP. I don't think anything ever left my machine. But
not sure on that point.

But in any case, the message as "undeliverable" in the subject line and then
"the following recipient(s) could not be reached" then the name of the
contact, the date/time of the e-mail and then it says "The requested
operation failed."

I'm using Outlook 2003 and I haven't knowingly changed any settings, but
this started happening to me recently (not problems with the same software
and setup for years - this spontaneously started happening).

I'm not a computer expert, so please don't jump all over me for not giving
all the precise and exact details in computer-expert language. This is the
best I can do to describe the problem.

Thanks,
Gregg

I have hundred of names and e-mail address in my Outlook 2007. I open a new
message and start entering a name but unless I had just gotten an email from
that person, I have to go manually into contacts and find the address, cut
and past. Shouldn't the E-mail check the contact and business contact list to
see if they are in there.
I'm thinking that they do,I just don't know which switch to flip.

I need to remove an e-mail address from one of our staff's computer which is
throwing her off. How can I remove a previously used e-mail address from the
auto-fill list. Is this possible?

many thnks

I have the following code:
Private Sub myOlApp_InboxItems()
Dim myOlApp As Outlook.Application
Dim myfolder As Outlook.MAPIFolder
Dim myitems As Items
Dim mynamespace As NameSpace
Dim n As Integer
Set myOlApp = CreateObject("Outlook.Application")
Set mynamespace = myOlApp.GetNamespace("MAPI")
Set myfolder = mynamespace.GetDefaultFolder(olFolderInbox)
Set myitems = myfolder.Items
MsgBox myitems.Count
n = 1
MsgBox myitems(n) 'this gives me the subject of the 1st e-mail in my inbox
End Sub
From this I can loop and see the subject of each e-mail in my inbox. What I
would like to see is the e-mail address of the sender and the date it was
sent.
Any ideas how I can code this?
Thanks,
Stanley

I have a list of almost 300 clients e-mail addresses. Does anyone know how to
upload them from excel format into Outlook without have to do one by one?

When synchronizing outlook with my phone all e-mail addresses from the phone
got placed in the "e-mailadress 3" field. Is it possible to remove ALL e-mail
addresses in this field (3) from ALL contacts at one time. Or do I have to do
it contact by contact?
