Free Microsoft Outlook Resources & Whitepapers

Set a recurrance every other weekday.

I want to add our school schedule on my calendar and we have a "blue" day and
then a "white" day. So the blue days are every other day i.e. Mon, Weds, Fri,
Tues, Thurs, and so on.

Any suggestions on how to set the recurrance? I have been setting it every
week and it is getting cumbersome.

I have someone come clean my house every other Thursday. I am notorious for
forgetting (you'd think the mess would remind me, but oh well). I need the
reminder in Outlook, so it syncs to my phone. I don't know how to do an
every other week recurrence.

Thanks

A doctor wants to set "on-call" appointments for every 4th weekday. For
examples, Monday, Thursday, Wednesday, Tuesday, Monday,...

There is an option for "Every n days." Is there an option that allows for
"Every n weekdays?"

Is there any way to schedule a recurrence very week day. I need to schedule
school classes that occur every 7th week day.

Hi,

I wanted to know if there was any possibility to setup a recurrence that has
only a recurrence in the weekdays, meaning it skips the weekend days all
together. So, if I want to setup an appointment on Monday, but want it to
repeat in 6 days again, that means i want it to be set for next week Tuesday.

Hope this helps, Thanks for all replies.

A while ago I set a recurrent task in my Outlook program. The program has
Franklin Covey planner included. The delete recurrece field is blocked. I've
tried changing the dates and other kinds of deleting but none of it seems to
work.
Help!

How do I set a recurring appoint for every other week?

When i set a meeting in Calendar it always shows up with a recurrence even
though i'm definitely not clicking the recurrence key.

Any suggestions on how i can stop this happening

Hello,

Using CONTACTS, I want to print the contact list using a color for every other line so the entire contact list is easier to read.  Is this possible?  if so, how?  I know there is an OPTIONS field while in PRINT PAGE SET UP.  Can I put a formula here to accomplish this task?  If so, what is the formula?

toI am using the Office 2007 Beta. I am having trouble sending email with
Outlook. Every other time I try ot send a message, Outlook crashes. It
seems to know it should get back to work, though and opens itself back up.
Then I can send one message. The next time I try, Outlook crashes. I have
unintalled the Office Beta and reinstalled it. I still have the same
problem. It happens just after I do a contrl-N for sending, or after I do
the same thing through the menus.

Any ideas?

How do I set a limit on how long an individual can set up a recurrance in
Outlook 2003??

Example: Fred in Marketing wants to set up a meeting to happen every
Wednesday at 2pm. The IT department has implemented a policy that prevents
that meeting from recurring for more than 90 days (3 months).

Thanks,

Jared

I want to create a monthly recurrence that happens on, say, the 15th of every
month. If the 15th is a Saturday, change to the 14th and if it is a Sunday,
change to the 16th.

Similarly, how would you set a recurrence for the Last day of the Month (of
course moving it up 1 or 2 days if it falls on a Sat. or Sun)?

Thanks in advance for any ideas.

The older I get, the better I used to be.

I am using Outlook 2007. Every time I set a new appointment on my calendar,
it automatically sets up a recurrence pattern even though I did not select
"recurrence" How can I stop this from happening?

Hi,

My example is...

1) Create an appointment
2) Set a yearly recurrence with no end date
3) Set a reminder for 2 weeks

My query is...

When I set a reminder for a one off appointment, it comes up in my reminder
screen, however, when I set a reminder for an event that has a recurrence, it
doesn't show up even though the box is ticked. Can anyone help?

I have tried every way I can figure out and I can not get tasks to work for
setting a task to repeat every day at the same time. Example:
A task is set as a repeating task every day at 10AM it works for a day or
two then resets some way and then will not work.
I configured it numerous ways and I can't get it to work.

I've looked around a bit and can't find a setting that calls for all
appointments to be set up with a recurrence -- if I could find it I'd turn it
off! Anyone know when this might be happening? I'm using Outlook 2007.

Thanks,

Peter S

When I enter a Task, and set a Recurrence (i.e., MWF of the week), when I delete (this one) the daily Task, it re-sets twice within the Tasks.  How do I stop this?

The older I get, the better I used to be.

I am in the process of moving users from Merak Mail Server to Exchange 2003 on SBS 2003.

A very useful function of the merak server is its ability to copy incoming and/or outgoing mail to other e-mail addresses (internal or external addresses).

I have managed to set exchange to copy all incoming mail to other addresses using distribution lists. I cannot fathom out a way for exchange to automatically copy mail sent by a user to other users.

i.e. email sent from boss to a client, is automatically sent to bosses assistants.

Can someone think of a way of doing this?

I have to rule out outlook rules as we use a third party application to send e-mail, although it uses outlook as it's backbone it seems to ignore any rules!

Your help would be much appreciated.
