Can you pull up a report or search in Outlook Calendar XP 2002 to find
changes in items that have been added to the calendar? For example, on
02/09/06 my boss adds something to his calendar. The next day, on 02/10, can
I search to find out if he made any changes to his calendar between 02/01 and
02/10?

How would I do this? If not, is there some way of electronically find out,
so I don't have to compare every day of the month to see if he added or
changed anything? Please help. Thank you very much!

I'm getting frustrated with the fact that if you change anything about a
reccurrance, it changes even past-dated reccurrances. is there any way to
lock the calendar for past dates?
thank you

Hello,

I'm trying to create a calendar for a small group of people to put their
availability. Our computers use Outlook 2003.

I tried creating a new calendar folder in my outlook, then changing the
sharing permissions to the users I want, but I can't work out how to access
it on another computer - by clicking on "add a shared calendar" it will only
add my own default calendar.

Is this the right way to go about it?

In Outlook 2003, you can create separate calendars (eg work, personal). When
accepting appointments/meetings, the program automatically adds the
appointment to the main calendar. Is there any way to either select which
calendar the appointment goes to? If not, is there a way to change the
default calendar? I would like to set up new calendars for a group of people
to practice sending and accepting appointments etc. It would be great if all
of the accepted appointments went into a calendar that could easily be
deleted at the end of the practice, as they're not going to be 'real'
appointments.

Thanks.

Is there a way to change it from the default of just showing the organizers
name in the Calendar for the resource, back to the way it used to be, with
the subject of the meeting instead..

I've poked around but dont see how to change this in either Outlook or on
the server?

Thanks in advance.

The issue: Microsoft outlook Calendar - Recurring meeting disappearing from organizer's calendar after a change has been made to a single instance

As the meeting organizer, I change the date of a single instance of a recurring meeting.  I am also a delegate to another calendar and receive the update to the meeting invitation I just changed in my inbox for the delegator, accept it and the updated meeting invitation appears on the delegator's calendar. Other attendees on the same meeting invitation do not receive the update. The recurring meeting/calendar item has disappeared from my calendar. A reminder appears at set time for the meeting which has disappeared yet the meeting invite itself is not showing on my calendar.

Hello,

We are running exchange 2003 servers and MS Outlook 2002/2003 as exchange clients. No user can see free/busy data in the calendar for each others when they add them in a new meeting request, it just shows grey crosshatches. I have checked it's enabled in the system folder in ESM.

Any idea what could be wrong?

TIA,

-T

This problem affects only one user - whenever I create an appointment in the calendar for this user account, somehow, the time is set to US East -5 hours (i.e., if I setup a meeting at 10:00 AM US EST, the calendar reflects the meeting start time as 05:00 GMT).

This is affecting only 1 user account, and it is consistent. This user account is actually a group calendar (i.e., it is a regular mailbox, and a lot of users have access to this calendar)

Any ideas as to why this is happening? All cilents are Win2k Pro, use office 2k, and the local time on each workstation is controlled by the domain controller.

Any help appreciated.

Hi, i am well aware that public calendar is not enable by default in Exchange 2007 and i would like some advise on how to go about it.

Our Exchange Server version is Exchange 2007 (SP1) and all of our users uses OWA 2007 to access their email.

I would like to setup a shared calendar so that our users would be able to view the calendar side by side together with their calendar.

Is this possible?

If not, can anyone tell me on how to create a public calendar for Exchange 2007?

Please advise and thanks in advance

Hello.

I'm using Outlook 2007.

My inbox is full and one of the culprits is my calendar.

Is there a way I can search my calendar for all invites with attachments
greater than X MB?

I've looked at the search options while in the Calendar and don't see
anything about attachment sizes.

thanks.

Hi,

I would like to share all user's outlook calendar for everyone in my
organisation. Is there a way to do it automaticaly without manually
setting permissions in each outlook ?

Is there a script that let me do that somewhere ? I didn't find one.

Thanks a lot.

I want to use Outlook Web Access public folder shared calendar for booking
annual leave, etc. I can set permissions for each one to edit their own
inputs in the shared calendar. But how do I enable one person (the rota
maker) to authorise the leave, show it in the calendar as authorised/granted
(bold text, different colour text etc) and also make it read only to all
others once authorised?

Thanks for any help.

We want to be able to use our Outlook Calendar for company-wide attendance.
We want input from each branch on calendar on those out with reason why out
but would like for anyone viewing (unless given authority to see reason) to
be able to just see the name of the person out for the day (marking name as
all day event). We are concerned for HIPPA reason to display the reason why
out for other than HR or Payroll. Has anyone figured out if this can be
done? Our operations are very thin and we need to know who is in and who is
out. Tried using time consuming memos in past. Hoping to modernize.

I created a "vacation calendar" for our dept. I would like to be able to
have members add their vacations to that calendar, and at the same time add
it to their own personal calendar. I tried adding it to the group calendar
and sending an appt. to my own personal calendar, but it doesn't add it to
the personal calendar. Any other ideas?

Of course, you can always send Invitations, but to be able to sync your items
to a shared calendar that is not assigned to one person in particular, but to
the group is so helpful. And to have that calendar then sync back with each
other in the group would be incredibly helpful. That way you don't have to
open each person's calendar individually...it's all there.

I have checked the link that John gave you, but it didn't work out because
it's not compatible with the server I use. I think that Outlook should be
made in a way to allow a user to add soemthing on someone else's calendar
with the option ot accepting or regretting of course. (The users are the
persons working in the same department for example)

Unfortunately, this is for a group of users who are out in the field most of
the time and won't be going to each others' appt, but just need to know
how/where to get ahold of each other if needed. So having each others'
schedules available in one place but not having to do anything to get to them
is what we are needing. But I'll check out the exchangegroupcalendar. Thank
you,

Juli

http://www.exchangegroupcalendar.com will do most of that. However it does
not yet support creating items in the public folde rto be synced back to the
personal calendars. Exchange server offers invitations for that (type a
distribution list name in the Invite tab of the appointment where all team
members are in the dist.list)

"JuliF" wrote:

Team members could share a calendar on Exchange. Each time they added
something to their own individual calendar it would synch with the Shared
Calendar. The appt card would have a place to designate if this would a Team
appt or an Indiviaul appt. As items were added to the Shared calendar if
they involved the Team, they would be synched back down to the individual
calendars.

The Shared Calendar would be stored in the Public folders so that all who
had permission could see it. You could sort/query by member of the group so
that each member's appts could be displayed by their name/initials.

OWA would offer these same features.

Imported Calendar Appointment Times Changed to 2 Hours Earlier

I went to "Files""Import and Export""Import from another program or
file""Personal Folder File (.pst)" and imported the gig or so of past and
future Outlook 2003 email, appointments, etc. to my Outlook 2007. Upon
opening my Outlook 2007 calendar i find that all of my imported appointments
are now starting and ending 2 hours earlier and my "All Day Events; now
extend to the previous day and have been given a start and stop time of 10:00
p.m. How do I fix this?

In Outlook Express is it possible to Print separate calendars for personal
and business appointments?
All the appointments are on one calendar.
Thanks

How can I print a blank calendar for the year on one page?

When I go to contacts and then to my calendar, my calendar 'view' has

Hi All,

Sorry if this has been asked before. Is it possible to create a single
calendar that all of my Outlook users can access and share dates etc. I know
about sharing calendars on an individual basis but not how to share one
calendar for everybody to use.

Thanks for your help
