Setting up Outlook using an existing email account from a hosting

I feel like a real dummy but how can I set up Outlook to access email from my
Godaddy email account? Is this even possible? I have a new Microsoft Office
Professional 2007 package & haven't done anything yet with Outlook.

Hi,
I've just set-up a new installation of Outlook 2003 and imported all my
emails, contact, calendar etc.

Its an exchange email account.

Autocomplete in the 'To' field is not working. It is turned on in advanced
settings.

Is this feature only running form the cache of pre-typed email address or is
it from the contacts list ? Or does it not work with an exchange account ?

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Hello,

I am glad that there's a forum for Outlook!

I work at an office of 4 employees, and we want to use Outlook 2007 as our email client and contacts database. I know how to set up email accounts, but could someone please explain to me, how can I set up Outlook so that our office can have a centralized "Contact Database" where if I create a new entry in the address book, then my co-worker can see that entry as well. We are running a Windows 2003 Server.

Also, we are using hostmonster.com as our email server. Would anyone happen to know if it's possible to download old e-mails that are saved on their server? So that way I can search through emails I received last month or so?

Thank you very much!
-Max

Hello,
I've had no problems setting up hotmail and gmail with Outlook 2013, I attempted to set up AOL using the exact instructions on their site and it didn't work, now I went to another site Configure Hotmail, Outlook.com, Gmail, Yahoo or AOL | HowTo-Outlook and I followed their settings and I was able to download my three e-mails, but I was unable to send anything. Then I tried sending a Test message through the Account Settings, and I got errors every time it went to send a test message. Outlook 2013 has no problem logging on, but it fails every time to send a test message. For my account, I have myname@aol.com and I put my password in, and these are the settings I've tried that didn't work:

Can anyone help me with this major problem? I was able to get everything else working, so I'm not a "basket case" when it comes to computers!
I would really appreciate it very much.

Please help, I’m using outlook 2007 on 1 pc and I’m trying to set it up on 2
user accounts in windows xp pro. The problem I am having is that all email
gets delivered to outlook when its opened from both accounts i.e. my wife’s
email address which is set up in outlook on her user name in windows this
gets sent to me on my screen name in outlook is there a way to set up outlook
so that my email only goes to outlook on my screen name in windows and vice
versa? Both email addresses are from the same ISP thanks for any help you can
give

I am baffled. I am running Outlook 2003 on Windows Vista Home Premium. I
have two users set up on my laptop, "user1", "user2".

User1 has several email accounts set up, they work without issue.

User2 has ONLY one email account set up. However, when I recently logged
onto "user2", Outlook somehow imported the email accounts from user1. I keep
getting prompted for passwords for 'user1' email accounts, though I am logged
into the "user2" profile. If I go to tools->email accounts, I only see the
ONE email account for user2. In the 'Mail Folders' pane on the left, I see
all the IMAP email accounts of user1 AND user2, but if I try and close the
user1 accounts, it tells me they are associated with email accounts, and I
have to remove them from the email accounts - but they aren't there!

Has anyone seen any behavior like this before?

I set up Outlook 2003 with 2 email accounts for my wife and me.
We are using MSN http.
All email sent from either inbox ends up in a single (default) sent items
folder under my account.

Is there any way to have my wife's sent email go to her sent items folder
and my sent email go to my sent items folder?

Thanks for the help.
