How do I combine 2 groups of contacts into 1 group?

I have 3 groups of contacts and when I send out an email, Group A returns an
error message that none or only some may have received the email. The 'Group
A' address could not be found. I could combine Group A with Group B, as it
seems to work fine, but don't know how to combine them. Help!

How do I transfer my list of Contacts from one computer to another (using ms
outlook 2007)?

Ultimately, I'm trying to transfer my outlook files (contacts & tasks &
calender) from my laptop to my desktop. Figuring out how to do it even once
would be a start (give me a base to which to work from and add too), but
figure out how to sync the two (for the future) would be even better (though
I don't know if this is even possible...)?

I'd really really appreciate any help!

How do I count the number of contacts in Outlook?
I have read some previous answers, and one says Outlook does not support
having a column numbering the contacts.
The other answer says the count shows on the "Status Bar".
I am familiar with Outlook but don't know what is called the "status bar".
I don't know where to look for the count, or even if it's possible to find it
without exporting the contacts to an Excel file.
Thank you in advance.

How do I combine two separate lists of names/addresses that are both in the
one Contacts folder. I have not been able to copy and paste them -
apparantly b/c they are in the same folder.

I need to separate my contacts into groups. As in Friends, Family and
Co-Workers. So when I send an email, I can look in a certain group or folder
for "Co-Workers" and not have to look through the hundreds of addresses I
have. I see in my Outlook 2007, under Contacts " Add New Group" and "
Customize Current View", but when I add a new group and name it, how do I
import or add certain contacts to that group?

How do I combine Contacts and Global Address List in Outlook?

In the Address Book in Outlook, there is a dropdown on the top right called

two of them have contacts and they are Contacts and Global Address List. How
do I combine them so whenever I start to type a name into my Outlook email
messages it will find it and finish it?
Thanks

Hi All

You are going to have to bare with me on this, as I can't explain it any
other way.

In essence, user is using Outlook 2000 (possibly 97 couldn't check at the
time) on an XP machine and they have created a number of contacts in the
Contacts section of Outlook.

Problem is that when they do a new message and click the 'To' button they
can't get these contacts to appear in any of the lists that appear, eg
Global Address List, All Contacts, etc.

They do have a lot of contacts in this window, but these appear to be stored
in their Exchange part of the system, as these contacts all appear in the
Global Address List and not in the Contacts section of Outlook. For your
ref, they only have MS Exchange installed as a service, as they are
connected to an outside network for their emails.

Looking at another machine's outlook, which is on the exact same network,
the only difference is that this machine ALSO has:

Outlook Address Book
Contacts

available in the 'To' button's list and the contacts that appear in the
Contacts section of this machine's Outlook are all listed in the above
Contacts option.

My question therefore is how do I get the Outlook Address Book/Contacts part
into the other machine's 'To:' window?

Hope this makes sense.

Regards

Laphan

How do I get Outlook to stop adding a "+1" in front of a telephone number that has an extension.  It does not do this for phone numbers added that have no extension.
When I synch Outlook to my HTC Ozone Mobile, look up a contact and press enter to dial a phone number the HTC is interpreting the "+1" as country code 011 and dialing that before the telephone number.

I.e. if the phone number represented in Outlook is
+1 (401) 270-1099 x 405
My mobile is dialing: 0114012701099405
