Hi!
I just installed Office 2007. When I started Outlook 2007, I got an error
message saying that the Add-in Mobile PhoneTools (c:Program FilesMobile
PhoneToolsOutl97.dll) cannot be loaded and has been disabled. It suggests
contacting the vendor for an update or uninstalling the add-in. I
uninstalled Mobile PhoneTools from Windows Control Panel and the directory in
which Outl97.dll resided no longer exists. I still get the message every
time I start Outlook 2007.
How do I prevent Outlook 2007 from attempting to load this uninstalled
program?
Any help from you experts would be much appreciated!

Hi,  Somehow all my aol email ended up in microsoft express and I don't want it there. How do I get it back to my aol mail account?

Hi I have read previous threads on my issue, but still have not found the
answer...I have Office 2007 and I want to send a mail merge (for paper
letters, not email). I went into Word, and it tells me I can add contacts
from Outlook for the mail merge. This is precisely what I want to do. I want
to send a form letter to all of my Outlook contacts. Ok, so when I go to add
the contacts from Outlook, I get an error message saying that I need to set
Outlook as my default mail client. Two questions: How do I do that? And will
that make it my default "EMAIL" client or does that just mean "MAIL" as in
"MAIL MERGE"? (I use Outlook Express as my default EMAIL client.)

PLEASE HELP

When I click on mailto: links in my browser, Outlook 2007 insists on opening
a message window to handle them. WinXP Pro. Browser is Firefox.

I have gone to Folder Options in Win XP and changed the registered
mailto: handler to my preferred mailer (Thunderbird) twice and both times
Outlook has (after rebooting) changed those settings by registering itself as
the mailto: handler.

Outlook is not configured as my default mail client (Options/Other/General).

How can I stop Outlook from hijacking my settings?

How do i set up outlook 2007 as my email client,

My computer has randomly decided to start using Outlook Express as the
default editor instead of Outlook. How do I switch it back? The tab in Tools
- Options - Other is already marked with "make Outlook my default editor...",
but that doesn't seem to be doing anything. Any suggestions?

This is a little bit different than some of the previous questions concerning
getting an email sent in Outlook 2007. I recently migrated from Outlook
2003. As far as I can tell the migration went fine, all my messages show up
and I get new mail. The problem I'm having is sending mail. I bring up a
new message either type in or pick a name from my Contacts list, type my
message and then click on Send. I get an error message saying "Cannot send
this item.". When I close out of the message it asks if I'd like to save a
draft, if I select Yes, I get another message that says "The operation
failed.". I have Outlook 2007 installed in a Windows XP SP2 machine. I've
also installed Outlook 2007 on my desktop machine as well everything looks
the same in the settings, but the laptop one just won't send. Any help would
be much appreciated.

We have a laptop in addition to our main computer. They are only
sporadically linked due to network problems.

We have Outlook 2003. How do I switch Outlook and all my data to my laptop?
I currently use my laptop 90% of the time and would like to have all my
features rather than using webmail etc.

I am trying to synchronize Outlook 2007 with my laptop and my blackberry so
they mirror each other on email and calendars. Can you help?

How do I stop Outlook 2007 from automatically downloading emails when I open
it? I have checked "leave messages on server" box, but it still won't stop
mail from downloading. There appears to be no to stop this under Tools >
Options > Account Settings. The "Help" application is not very helpful, nor
is the knowledge base which returns "0" results. Thanks for your help.
Outlook is WAY too complex and complicated for this aging brain!

How do you config Outlook 2007 to automatically recieve messages when you
start it?

I had to resort my system on a new computer, I was able to get all the
archived messages and contact details copied over, however, when I try to
send out an e-mail Outlook does not recognise that it should list the e-mail
addresses from the contacts list.

Hence, I am currently retyping all the e-mail addresses when I send out a
message and Outlook does not remember these either.

How do I get outlook to recognise my contacts list and use the e-mail
addresser there when I click on "To:" or "CC:"?
