"+" in Country code in Outlook 2010

Hi to all,
I'm experiencing an annoying issue in my Outlook 2010.
As far as I understand, I get the "+" symbol cancelled randomly from the international code phone numbers of my contacts, causing the number, when then synced to my phone or ipad, to be useless.
example
+39 3635456
becomes
39 3635456
Why does it happen?
there's no way to insert it, when I hit enter or save it is removed.
Thanks
Rob

My OS is Windows XP w/SP3 and MS Outlook 2003 w/SP3, I have to use area codes
in all numbers. I'm faxing with a distribution list. I have to manually
remove the +1 country code before I can fax from my list. When I remove the
+1 my faxes send, but I leave the country code Outlook acts like I'm dialing
long distance when I'm dialing locally. How can I configure my fax numbers
to drop the +1 or can I create a dialing property to trick MS Outlook 200

Hi,

Our exchange is in exch2003 and outlook 2010. Some of our users are facing issue in viewing the free/busy status while booking the meetings. But this is visible via OWA.

I saw an article for outlook 2007...http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;982698

Is there any specific for outlook 2010.

Regards,
Aju

I'm currently running Exchange 2010 and Outlook 2010 and I've created a room distribution list and figured out that in order to see the list in Outlook 2010 I had to download the latest OAB which is fine.

Prior to doing this I was running Exchange in Cache Mode and I managed to get duplicate entries within the "Show in Room List" drop down menu.

How do I remove entries off this list, so that only one shows up? For example, I have 2 entries for "Meeting Rooms" which is the name I used for my room distribution list group, but now I just want one to show up on the drop down list not 2 of them.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Greetings smart people.

I have a weird thing happening with my new installation of Outlook 2010. My computer crashed last month, and I just restored all of my files and data to my new laptop. I also installed Outlook 2010. I sync it to my company Exchange Server. I also have accumulated a small collection of Notes that I reference from time to time.

I noticed that there was no "Notes" folder visible in the folder list ... so I tried to make one. I got a message that "A folder with this name already exists." ... so I made one called "Notes1." If I click on the "Notes (Ctrl+5)" icon on the bottom of the Navigation Pane, I can see the new "Notes1" folder, plain as day, but no "Notes" folder. Besides the fact that I cannot see the "Notes" folder anywhere on the Navigation Pane, there are other two weird things going on:

1) I have a cool little iPhone App called iMNotes that syncs notes between Outlook and my iPhone. Works over the air via the exchange server, very cool. I created a few notes ... they showed as "synced" ... but they don't show up in my Notes1 folder.

2) I discovered that if I right-click on the "Notes (Ctrl+5)" icon and select "Open in new window" ... TaDa!! ... the actual "Notes" folder opens up, along with the newly-synced notes I created on my iPhone.

So, the usual "Notes" folder is there ... it syncs with Exchange Server ... but it is completely stealth until I "Open in new window." As an aside, if I select a note and select "Move" on the menu bar, both the Notes and Notes1 folder show up as options.

Long story short ... where the heck is my Notes folder, and why can't I see/use it in the normal Outlook 2010 window?

Thanks for taking the time to read this. And thanks in advance for the suggestions.Greetings smart people.

As far as I can tell, ExecuteMso is now only available on the
Office.CommandBars object, which is deprecated in Outlook 2010.

I have an application that (in versions prior to 2010) executes the
"MoveNext" command for Outlook Inspectors.

Does anyone have any information about the ability (or lack thereof) to
execute Outlook commands, especially those which don't appear on the Ribbon ?

Thanks.

Mates,

On my Outlook 2007, I was able to view 3 small calendars stacked on top of one another in the left navigation pane. This was very helpful.

Now, with Outlook 2010, the three month calendar view has disappeared, only showing one small calendar, which is the current month.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to show three calendars at the same time in the Navigation Pane using Office 2010?

Thanks,

Wadeen

I am using the Beta version of Outlook 2010 with Windows 7 Pro (64 bit).
Sent emails are not logged in the Sent Items folder nor do saved drafts
appear in the Drafts folder.

I have confirmed that the relevant settings are checked in the Mail
Settings. Any ideas what I can do to solve this problem?

In creating my signautre in Outlook 2010, I need to insert a trademark symbol.  I can't seem to insert any type of symbol.  I've also tried to copy/paste, etc. in an attempt to do so, and not able to do that as well. I am able to insert the trademark symbols manually in my email once it brings forth the signature in my email but I need to have it in the actual signature permanently.

In newly installed Outlook 2010, using Windows 7, everything transferred perfectly. My emails, files, accounts, and contacts are all in Office and Outlook 2010. However, myContacts do not appear in my address book - in fact there are no address books. I used this article KB287563 and did everything it said. Yet when I get to Step 3 Outlook will not let me 'click to select the "Show this folder as an e-mail address book' check box. It is grayed out. We are using Windows 7 Ultimate, Office 2010. So frustrating - every new email I have to go to Contacts and cut and paste the address. When I hit the "TO:" or CC: nothing comes up. Tried MS support but my PID number wasn't recognized (why not?). Do I need to pay to get help to fix this? Any advice would be so much appreciated. I've tried to change the properties of the contacts folder but same issue - check box not available. Thanks so much!

I upgraded from Outlook 2007 to Outlook 2010 in July. I used the "Find Related" shortcut menu a LOT in OL 2007 - in OL 2010, when I right-click on a message, the "Find Related" option is there, but it is grayed out. Very frustrating!

I can open the message, then click Find | Related on the Ribbon, but that is more clicks and doesn't work as well.

Why is this menu option grayed out? Is there some setting I'm missing? I'd really like this functionality back!

Thanks in Advance!

I have 2 Office Live mail (aka hotmail) accounts. I've been trying to send an email to a specific recipient from hotmail account 1 and this email stays in the Outboox (under hotmail account 1).  During that time, I was able to send and receive emails back and forth between my 2 hotmail accounts using Outlook 2010.  In addition, I was able to use webmail 1 to send the email that I could not send from Outlook 2010, which means that the recipient's email address is good. What's the reason for this happening? What should I do so that this never happens again?

When I highlight a message (Outlook 2010) in the in box to delete and after
deletion, I want the cursor to move up to the message above it and not below
it.
