I have outlook with the XP Office Suite. When I click reply, a little box
comes up that says Word is my email editor. Then outlook freezes and I have
to close the program. I can only get it to work if I turn "Word as my email
editor" off, but I want to use it for spelling. How do I get it back? Thanks.

Hi guys,

I got the trouble to use the OWA 2003 which has been SSL enabled. When i log
on the OWA, i can only view public folders...where is my inbox stuff....I
guess the cause is related to the SSL port on the default web site. I put
port 443 on the exchange virtual server, so i have to put the different port
number on the default website. At this stage, i put 444 as the SSL port for
the default web site. How can i get it working, tks in advance. Karen.

I just signed on and I have Windows Mail replacing Outlook Express.
BUT
I use OUTLOOK (not Express)

Where is my Outlook? and all the e-mail folders? How do I get back to plain
old OUTLOOK?

I was editing a file that I opened directly from Outlook 2007. I
would periodically save it (not save as). I seemed to happily save
and then I closed the file. When I went to find it, I can't! I have
done searches on my PC's harddrive, I have looked in the directory C:
Documents and SettingsCaroleLocal SettingsTemp to no avail. I can
only find reference on how to change the save as location - but not
where my online saves went! Help please! Where is my file (please
don't tell me it's gone....)

Why is my emails going out slow?

Why is my emails going out slow?

I posted in another forum... but I haven't gotten a response yet.  I'm hoping someone here can help me out.

I am running Windows Server 2003 for Small Business, Premium Edition.

I am trying to configure Exchange server to route my incoming email to my Exchange mailbox.

My windows login name is NOT the same as my email account name, so I understand that I need to setup Message Routing.

Under my POP3 Connector, I added the POP3 account.  I put in the mail server, login name, password, etc.  Then at the bottom, I chose "Global Mailbox" and clicked on the Routing button.  Under Routing, I added a route that is supposed to look for my email address (I tried both WITH and WITHOUT the @comcast.net).  My emails DO get pulled by Exchange.  I can verify this by logging into my mail account via HTML and seeing that they are gone.  However, the messages never actually reach my Exchange mailbox.

I have no idea where they have gone.  I just know that I don't have them.

Please help. :)

Hi

i am trying to find out where my emails are going when i send to a particular client

in general my clients exchange server is accepting email and working as usual

but if i send from my domain it does not get there, the last entry in message tracking
says message transfered to esmtp through smtp (what does that mean)
i would expect to see an external smtp server as the last entry if a mail has left exchange successfully

it appears maybe its still in my exchange server

can anyone help.

I am the IT administrator at work and we use Outlook 2003 on a Small Business
Server.

I had to log into another user's PC as the administrator to email some
documents to myself that they had on their hard drive. As I'd not used the
machine before it installed a new Outlook account. I selected the documents
by going into the directory via "my computer". Once highlighted, I used the
"send to" option. A new email window appeared with the docs as attachments.
I addressed the email to my own account but to do date it still hasn't
arrived. I have logged in as both myself and the administrator and have
nothing in my sent message box either. Where did this email go and will
anything show up in the PC owner's email box, even though I was not logged as
the PC owner? Thanks

I am trying to locate an email sent by a specific user. In advanced search I
find the Email in question, but it says it is in the location of Jobs. Now
this user has a very large tree for where he files his mail, and the location
of Jobs could be anything from 2 to 7 layers deep.

How can I get a full path to the Email?

I currently have my PST file stored on a separate partition from my program
files. Then if I need to restore an image, my data is unaffected.

However, is there a way to perform a similar storage to my email accounts? I
just restored a partition and I lost all of my account information (Tools ->
Email Accounts).

Where is that info stored? How do I store it elsewhere from the C: drive?

Thanks.

Please tell me where is "The Save My Settings Wizard " that comes with
Office. Is it on the CD?

It's stored in the Windows registry. The Save My Settings Wizard that comes

Hi Sam,

Do you know how to add the autocomplete information from an old machine
running Outlook Expres to a new machine running Outlook 2003? I did all the
export guides, installed 2003 on the old machine and exported Personal
Fodlers and imported it on the new machine. The old machines Outlook 2003
folders does not contain an nk2 with autocomplete information thou.

Is ther another way to go about this or is the autocomplete infor forever
lost in the switch to 2003 from Express?

Thanks!

Autocomplete entries are stored in the .nk2 file with the same name as the mail profile. Did that file copy over?

If you are not seeing items in the Outlook Address Book, make sure that address book is in the mail profile and also right-click the Contacts folder and check the Outloolk Address Book box on the folder's Properties dialog.

Hi

I just installed MicrosoftOffice Outlook, it has loaded all the email from my mail box to my computer, and in my email box nothing is left, the received messages and the sent ones.

The thing is, I will not be able to open my mail box and read old email, from another computer.

What can I do? I am ready to forget the Outlook unless I get my mails back in my internet site.

Thanks.

When I viewed recent email activity using event viewer (I'm running Outlook 07)it says 'The store was last opened on a different machine' but I only ever access my email from this machine! Is my email security being compromised? Can someone advise please? Many thanks.
